Game Summary: A back and forth game to kick off this series in Shelburne against a very game Hawks team. After getting a late start due to a ref showing up late, the short benched Hawks (only 8 skaters and 1 goalie) got on the board first. Our boys were able to tie it up early in the 2nd period with a great play by "Moose" driving the puck wide and "Wally" crashing the net to bang home the tying goal. The Hawks answered back with a well placed shot from the high slot area that gave them a 2-1 lead heading into the 3rd. Some close calls on both ends and a scoreless 3rd period saw the Hawks skate out of the CDRC with a 2-1 victory. This should be a very exciting best of 5 series! Go Wolves !
