Proof of Vaccination Update for New Year
On Friday December 10th, 2021, the Government of Ontario made an announcement with updates relevant to settings where proof of vaccination is required. Beginning December 20th, 2021, proof of full vaccination (plus 14 days) is required for all youth aged 12-17 years participating in organized sports at recreational facilities.

Effective January 4th, 2022, enhanced vaccine certificate with QR code is required for anyone entering the facility, this can be digitally or by printing a paper copy. For more information, visit the links below.
 
IMPORTANT NOTE
We ask families to please check websites of the centres they are visiting for updated COVICD-19 protocols.  As each venue may vary all centres have been asked to provide updates on their association websites.

Vaccination Policies for 2021-2022 Season
  • COVID Vaccines - OHF/OMHA may elect to make vaccines mandatory in order to participate in organized hockey.  The exact details are not finalized but once they are SMHA will provide details on our website. To be clear, this is not an SMHA driven initiative, this policy has been implemented by OHF and OMHA, and we will need to abide by their decision and protocols.

  •  COVID/Vaccine Update -The province has mandated that all attendants who are visiting the CDRC for games and practices must be fully vaccinated in accordance with Public Health guidelines.  Our understanding of this mandate is that all parents, family members, friends, etc.18 years of age and older.
