As the year draws to a close, the Tyke 1 Wolves team has enjoyed a terrific year both on and off the ice. To celebrate the year and to show all the parents (specifically Moms) how much better our guys/girl have gotten, the Tyke 1’s challenged their Mothers to a friendly game. Bragging rights were at an all-time high heading into the game, and you could tell from the first puck drop that this was going to be a much closer game than anyone may have anticipated!
The Tyke 1’s and Moms battled all game long, trading scoring chances at each end and if not for the FLUKEY goaltending of Rudina (Rudy) Carson-Pedri the Tyke 1’s would have surely run away with the game. As the final buzzer sounded the game was tied 3 – 3, and most importantly the Tyke 1’s showed their Mom’s just how good they are. Everyone had a great time and the Mom’s learned a few lessons along the way.
Congratulations to the Tyke 1’s and the Mom’s on a great game and a great season!
