SMHA Rep Teams Off to 2nd Round of OMHA Playdowns.
Submitted By Shelburne Minor Hockey on Sunday, January 29, 2017
SMHA would like to congratulate 3 of our Rep teams for making it to the 2nd round of OMHA Playdowns.

Novice Rep played Schomberg in the 1st round and won their opening best of 5 series in 4 games vs Schomberg. The Novice Reps will play the winning team from the Wasaga/Georgian Shores series in the 2nd round beginning in the upcoming weeks.

Bantam Rep played Stayner in the 1st round and won their opening best of 5 series in 4 games.  The Bantam Reps will play the winning team from the  Kawartha/Mariposa series in the 2nd round beginning in the upcoming weeks.

Midget Rep played Stayner in the 1st round and won their opening best of 5 series in 4 games.

In the 2
nd round the Wolves found themselves up against the International Silver Stick Champions, the Minto Mad Dogs.  Although the Mad Dogs came out the winners in this series,  the Wolves put forth a good fight.  Close scoring games made this 2nd round a good series.  Good Work Midget Rep in putting your best efforts forth and representing Shelburne Minor Hockey.

Way to go to all 3 teams and good luck as you commence the 2nd round of OMHA playdowns.

GO WOLVES GO!!
