SMHA will be hosting a Holiday Family Skate which will include, hot chocolate, yummy treats,  holiday music and a visit from the BIG guy.

Join us during this time in supporting one of our own, Coach Chris Reed as he battles Leukemia.  SMHA will be selling HELMET DECALS, accepting basket donations as well as monetary donations during the Santa Skate to help support the Reed Family during this difficult time.

When:  Wednesday, December 19th
 Time: 7:00-8:30
 Who:  Everyone

Coach Chris has influenced so many of our young players over the years with his passion for coaching and love of the game. This passion is always visible in his chalk talks before the game, the between period encouragement talks,  his off-ice team get togethers and most obviously during his year end speech at the SMHA awards night.  Coach Chris has a way of making every player feel special,  no matter the outcome on the scoreboard they always leave the rink with a smile.   Chris' love for his team and hockey always shines through.

SMHA wants to show Coach Chris we all stand together in this fight and we are all sending him the love and support he has given so many SMHA players through the years.

If you are a Shelburne Minor Hockey family, a former player of Coach Chris, a friend or someone who just wants to show support please join us on Wednesday.  Everyone is welcome!

A GOOD COACH CAN CHANGE A GAME, A GREAT COACH CAN CHANGE A LIFE.--JOHN WOODEN
