Playdown Game 1
Great Start for the Wolves in the Series with a 5-1 Win. Team started off a bit slow but to be expected with the long layoff. Downey got the first goal 9 seconds into the 2nd period. We quickly gave up a goal to tie it up, but the boys didn't look back after Downey added his 2nd of the game half way through 2nd. The Third goal was goal scored by Galbraith, 4th by Reed and Downey added the Hatrick goal in the dying minutes of the game to seal the deal.
Game was filled with opportunities and good passing. The Boys battled through the Rust and l expect we will look better in Game 2 of the series next Sat. Great game all around by the Defence and Pedri in Net. Good Job Wolves! Player of the Game went to Galbraith for his great 2 way play, many times being first forward back and helping in the defensive zone
